
Bryan Gruley
Bryan Gruley, who grew up in Redford, is an award-winning, critically acclaimed novelist and a former reporter for Bloomberg Businessweek, The Detroit News, and The Wall Street Journal, where he worked in the Washington bureau before serving as the Chicago bureau chief. He was part of a team at The Wall Street Journal that won a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of 9/11.
The Traverse City resident talks to Deadline Detroit about his sixth novel, BITTERFROST, which takes place in northern Michigan. He also discusses his career as a journalist and the profile he wrote on legendary Tigers announcer Ernie Harwell while at The Wall Street Journal.
His new book, which debuts on Tuesday, April 1, is available at bookstores and on Amazon.
